Ongoing Kizomba Subsea Control Systems Project
The Kizomba project is based in the Mondo field, in 740 metres of water, 370 Kilometers west of Luanda, Angola.
Subsea Control Systems coated by e-blast are first prepared for Shot Blasting, as per supplied drawings, ensuring critical areas are suitably protected to withstand Shot Blast Impact.
The control systems are then blasted and coated as per client specification, with a surface preparation of Grit Blasting to SA 2.5, followed by a 3 coat Subsea paint specification, designed to last a minimum of 15 years in service.
As well as the coating, the control systems have critical electrical continuity requirements, e-blast Ltd follows further Client specification to ensure these requirements are met, and carried out to the required standard.
